Breakdown 4/13

Great job this last week guys - the stage presence on stage was incredible!! I'm so very proud to be leading this team and to have each and every one of you. A big part of our ministry is the stage presence and the essence of worship that we have in ourselves on stage, and every one of you was engaging the audience and bouncing and having a great time and I can't thank you enough for that.

Special special note of thanks to Scott Pollak for all his hard work this week and for carrying the band through some parts that just wouldn't have sounded good on electric guitar --- oh, and great job on communion as well Scott!

Be sure to check your e-mails this week as I am going to be contacting you all about a MANDATORY meeting that we will be having in 2 weeks. I will give you the detail later this week in the e-mail... just be sure to check at least by Tuesday/Wednesday - it will definitely be e-mailed by practice of this week.

For this week:

Prelude - Come Together by The Beatles
Nathan is singing the prelude - no melody will be played.
We will run the song straight through to the FIRST repeat, return back to the repeat sign (2nd system, first measure on page 2) and play second line lyrics, play chorus, outro and then end on Dm7 chord.
Total time of this is about 2:05 min.

Song - My Savior Lives
Play exactly as .mp3.
Vocalists - I will sing first verse alone, Nathan will sing second verse alone. Harmony on chorus and bridge.
Band (Steve & Nathan) - be sure to note that on page 2 there is a misprinted chord "D" on the fifth system, second measure. Just play the NORMAL chorus chord progression of "B-G#m7-E-B"

Song - You Are Holy
Listen to the .mp3 for a good reference to how we are playing this song.
Vocalists - Harmony on chorus 1st time through, every other time ladies sing alternate lyrics and tenor harmony. On verses, everyone echo me, not just ladies.
Band - We will play this exactly like the .mp3 until it gets to that funky breakdown part, where we will stead just repeat the chorus again.

Band - There is a chord error on the sheet music - the outro chords of the chorus should be (C-G-Bb-F NOT C-G-Am-F) -- please correct this!
