Breakdown 4/6

Ok, for this week, we do not have a special song, other than the prelude. However, we do have four praise songs, and they are a huge part of the service -- especially the last two. Vocalists, please pay attention to the notes I have for you, and please be ready on Thursday to knock these out. Band, listen to the .mp3's on the Bandstand site and pay close attention to your part.

Prelude - Boys of Summer by The Ataris
I will sing this prelude, so no melody will be played.
No acoustic guitar needed on this song.
We will play the entire song.
Play EXACTLY like the .mp3, nothing will be different whatsoever!!!

Song - All Because of Jesus
Vocalists - I will sing first verse and pre-chorus, come in at chorus. Andrew will sing second verse and pre-chorus, come in at chorus. Katie is singing echo on chorus. Harmony on chorus ONLY.
BAND - PLAY EXACTLY LIKE TRACK
Song starts with electric guitar, then drums and 2nd electric enter, then entire band.

Song - Friend of God
Vocalists - I will sing first verse, come in at "It's amazing" at the end of the first verse.
After you enter, you will sing the rest of the song, including second time through verse.
Harmony on chorus and bridge.
Bridge harmony will work like this: First time, John only. Second time, add tenor. Third time, add alto. Fourth time.
Band - Starts off with light guitar strumming, this will be myself and acoustic guitar, everyone comes in after the first line of the verse has been sung - listen to .mp3 to understand what I mean!!
Cut out on bridge and slowly build each time we repeat "God Almighty, Lord of Glory... etc"

Song - Jesus Paid it All
Vocalists - Everyone sing all verses. TENOR HARMONY ONLY on chorus. ALL harmony on bridge.
Band - AGAIN, PLAY EXACTLY LIKE TRACK
Band comes in after first chorus.

Song - Mighty to Save
Vocalists - I will sing first verse, come it at chorus and sing the rest of the song from that point.
Harmony on chorus and bridge - LOTS OF INTENSITY!!!
Band - I don't know if I mentioned this yet, but we will ALSO PLAY THIS ONE EXACTLY LIKE THE TRACK!!
Starts with electric guitar and drums.

Ok, I know it's a lot of detail, but I know all of you guys will follow my leadership blindly... right?

Well, hopefully. I trust you all. Thanks in advance for all your hard work this week!
