Breakdown 5/3

Prelude - You Really Got Me by Van Halen
Play it exactly as .mp3
We WILL PLAY the entire song (only about 2:30 total)
Nathan will play the melody AND the guitar solos (good luck)
Note: I realize that you cannot play the melody and do the exact guitar improvisations.  Just do what you can.  The melody is more important.
Not too difficult to play for the rest of the band (a few important drum fills Lizzy)
Rock it out (lots of crash cymbal and fills)

Song - Let The Praises Ring

Vocalists - Unison on verses / tenor harmony on 2nd half of verses / harmony on chorus

Band - exactly like .mp3

Keep the verses simple, nothing special on any part
    Acoustic strums chords
Straight kick/hi-hat beat (listen to .mp3)
Nothin' too fancy on electric or bass

Acoustic guitar solo just before the electric guitar solo begins (just like .mp3)

FLOW: V1-C-V2-C-Solo-C-Outro

***NEW SONG***PLEASE LISTEN TO THE .MP3
Song - For Your Glory

Vocalists - I will sing verse 1 / Nathan verse 2 / harmony on chorus / unison on bridge

Band - EXACTLY like .mp3

Please listen to the .mp3 - this song is not difficult, but each part is very important
Note: I will play acoustic on this song
The time signature after the bridge is still in 4/4 - DO NOT LET THE DRUMMER ON THE .MP3 FOOL YOU
Lizzy, if you can play it like the drummer on the .mp3, kudos - do what you can to mimic this

FLOW: Verse1-Chorus-V2-C-Bridge-Bridge-C-C

Song - Here I Am To Worship

Vocalists - I will sing verse 1 / Katie verse 2 / harmony on chorus / harmony on bridge

Band - like .mp3, not exact

We are playint the song in E major - the chart reflects D major (transpose up one whole step)
I will start the song on piano - band enters at beginning of 2nd verse
Very simple until we reach the bridge, then drop out
When we build it back up, drive it on open hi-hat
Keep this going into the chorus and switch to crash cymbals during the chorus
Then drop out for final chorus

FLOW: V1-C-V2-C-B-B-C-C

Song - First Kiss

I will sing melody / Nathan harmony

Band - flow is the same as .mp3, but we will drive it slightly more

Electric guitar is used as rhythm instrument throughout (use exact or similar effect, like .mp3)
Bass and drums need to be really tight, but not staccato
Lizzy, keep your kick and hi-hat very simple (just like .mp3), but open the hi-hat on the choruses (close it on the intro/outros)
RaShaan, be tight with your bass line (keep with the kick drum).  Play with a pick and keep it smooth, not staccato.
We will need to make it sound as country as it sounds on the .mp3 - this is the style we are going for
Note: the F#dim chord on the pre-chorus is not held, it's a passing tone to the G minor (listen to .mp3)
