Prelude - Bittersweet Symphony

Scott will play the melody

Play it exactly as .mp3

We will play through the first repeat and end at the second repeat

We may actually cut it a little short, because it gets very repetitive

Drums - focus on getting the snare accents

Song - I Know Who I Am

Vocalists - I will sing verses / harmony on chorus

Band - use .mp3 as reference

We will start the song driving it over the chorus chords

NO BRIDGE ON THIS SONG

We will keep the drum fill under the chorus

Vocalists - Unison on verses (light tone) / harmony on chorus

We will start this driving it with the whole band (this is different than our normal way of playing it)

Play the intro over the CHORUS EXIT CHORDS (E-C#m-A-B-E)

Keep the verses simple...

Guitar solo after second chorus (feel free to mimic or make something up)

Vocalists - unison on verses / harmony on chorus / the bridge is a little tricky, I'll teach you at practice

Band - almost exactly like .mp3 (except a little faster and more driven)

Band starts from beginning.

Open hi-hat on intro's, outro's, chorus.

Guitar solo after second chorus (mimic or create something)

The bridge needs to slowly build from nothing... so take it completely down.
