Prelude - Beautiful Day by U2
I will sing the melody.
Use the .mp3 as a reference, but we will play it more like the Sanctus Real adaptation.
We will play the entire song.
Chords only change at the bridge... other than that... keep it the same.
Song - Your Grace Is Enough
Vocalists - unison on verses. harmony on pre-chorus, chorus.
Band - same as this past week.
Acoustic plays the last chorus after everyone cuts out
SONG FLOW: Intro-Verse1-Prechorus-Chorus-V2-PC-C-PC-C-C2-Outro
Song - God Is With Us
*****NEW SONG*****
Vocalists - I will sing verses. Harmony on chorus - tenor sings underneath melody, like on the track. Alto will sing the traditional tenor part, above the melody. Also, on the chorus... the last line on the sheet music says, "Of man," but it's actually, "Amen."
Band - play like .mp3, almost exact, read notes below.
WE WILL NOT DO THE BRIDGE OF THIS SONG!
Nathan, guitar solo over the intro chords after the second chorus instead of the bridge.
The verses need to sound just like on the .mp3... mainly bass and drums, acoustic lays down the chord, but doesn't strum.
Bryce, chorus should always be crash cymbals - intro and interludes can be on open hi-hat.
After guitar solo, skip to the broken down chorus, where it's just guitar, then drums come in...
SONG FLOW: Intro-Verse1-Chorus-V2-C-Guitar Solo(Intro Chords)-C-C
Song - Holy Is The Lord
Vocalists - unison on verses, harmony on chorus and bridge.
Band - listen to .mp3... play exact.
Song should slowly build throughout... by the bridge, we should be fully driving.
Nathan, play the little acoustic picked line during first verse on electric.
Scott, pick during verses... strum during chorus, bridge.
Bryce, slowly build... closed hi-hat, ride, open hi-hat, crash.
SONG FLOW: Verse1-Chorus-V2-C-Bridge-PC-C-C
Song - Pride
Nathan is singing melody, I will sing harmony.
Band - exactly as .mp3!
No acoustic needed.
No notes... play EXACTLY as .mp3... if you don't understand what this means... I don't know.
