Ok, I really need everyone to be OVER PREPARED for practice this week, because it is a BEAST of a service. We have a lot of music, and all of it is new to us because it's Christmas music! I hope by now you have at LEAST listened to the music. Here's my notes and I'll see you at practice!
Prelude - Deck The Halls by Ted Nugent
We are playing the entire song.
Nathan will play the melody.
RaShaan, the chord changes are extremely quick. Practice along and have your bass solo ready.
Lizzy... you know what you have to do. It's a lot of snare rolls (excluding that long intro fill) and open hi-hat. Another tricky spot is after the second verse where it breaks down to the bass and the guitar solo... make sure you get the transition there.
This is going to be the most difficult song that we've had in a LONG time. Please be ready.
Song - Joy To The World
Vocalists - sing entire song. harmony on entire song. sing verses 1, 2, and 4. skip verse 3 (no more let sins...)
Band - we will play it at a faster tempo than the .mp3, but use the .mp3 as reference
Keep it jazzy sounding like this, but we might add a few accents to the last line...

Chord changes are a little difficult to follow with this chart... but you should be able to figure it out.
Nathan, solo over the intro and interludes.
Lizzy, these first two songs are straightforward for you.

Lizzy, for the first two verses, I would like a beat on toms and snare (beat those toms hard.) For verses three and four, go to a regular beat.
Nathan, play the melody of "Do you see what I see?" as your intro riff.
On the third and fourth verses, we will pop the chords from E-D... I'll show you at practice.

Nathan, you solo after chorus 1, chorus 2, and chorus 3... do NOT solo after chorus 4 to the song.
Straightforward for drums.
RaShaan, there is a bass lick throughout the entire song... doesn't change. It's easy, you should be able to figure it out.
Song - Window In The Skies
I will sing (Nathan you sing countermelody on last chorus.)
Band - exactly like .mp3 - no differences
This has to be EXACT.
RaShaan, straightforward for you... just follow along.
Lizzy... not difficult, but tedious. Make sure you know all your stuff.
Nathan, I will play the synth part, so you shouldn't have anything difficult, except solo.
