Breakdown 8/31

Prelude - Life Is A Highway by The Rascal Flatts
We will NOT play the entire song.
Nathan will play melody on electric.
Song starts with drums/electric riff, and the sheet music begins when the band kicks in.
Play song exactly as it is on the .mp3 until we get to the bridge. This is where we will end.
Chords are correct - no errors in the sheet music, just follow along 'til the bridge.

Song - Salvation Is Here
Vocalists - I'll sing verses, but sing "Gonna be alright!" harmony on chorus and bridge.
Band - play exactly as .mp3
Nothing special here. We've heard this one a million times. Be ready to rock it.
SONG FLOW: Verse1-Verse2-Chorus-Verse1-Chorus-Chorus-Bridge-Chorus-Chorus-Bridge

Song - Happy Day
Vocalists - sing entire song. unison on verses. harmony on chorus and tenor on bridge.
Band - play exactly as .mp3
Drummer needs to "push" tempo. Don't let it get into a groove... this one should be fast!
Starts w/ drums and electric riff... band kicks in on C/E-F-Am-G
SONG FLOW: Verse1-Chorus-Verse2-Chorus-Bridge-Chorus

Song - Only Jesus
Vocalists - sing entire song. unison on verses. harmony on chorus.
Band - keep it simple.
We know this one, and shouldn't make it more difficult than it needs to be.
Starts w/ piano - band should come in at chorus (bass, drums, electric)
Acoustic can pick chords underneath piano during verses.
SONG FLOW: Verse1-Chorus-Verse2-Chorus

Song - Believe
I am singing this song, Nathan (possible) harmony
PLAY EXACTLY AS .MP3
This song is very repetitive for all members, especially bassist and drummer (lots of snare and crash)
No acoustic needed.
Starts w/ electric guitar riff and drum fill. Bass comes in after drum fill.
Rock it out - ride that crash cymbal and drive the chorus!
