First Practice

Hey team and welcome to the blog!

This is the first post of many throughout this upcoming year. I am looking forward to what God has in store for us at this new campus, but even more so, I am looking forward to working in closer relationship with all of you. Maybe you are not as excited to work with me...

I realize it might be strange to visit a blog for the music team, but the only reason it hasn't been done at the Sharpsburg campus, is simply for the reasoning of Mike Parker not having the time/interest to do so. But we still love him dearly. I might love him a little too much.

Moving forward though...

Our first OFFICIAL practice--FINALLY!--will be held on Thursday, February 21 from 7:00-9:00 PM @ CCC Sharpsburg. Vocalists will meet from 7:00-7:30, band will follow from 7:30-8:30, with run over time until 9:00. The plan for this first practice is to, obviously get together and rehearse the music, but more importantly, establish that practices will meet regularly on Thursday evenings.

For the team that is scheduled up that week, please notice that we are leading worship on Sunday, February 24. So, we will have vocalists and band members in attendance that are not a part of our team, but are simply helping fill the gaps. After this first practice, they will no longer be attending, except for on an as-needed basis. So if you are scheduled to play on Sunday the 24th, please have your music learned and ready for practice on Thursday the 21st.
